Mental Health Awareness Week 2020

Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 18-24 May 2020. The theme is kindness.

Did you know that kindness can be beneficial for our mental health?

As someone who suffers with my own mental health I encourage others to find the courage like myself and speak up, wether it be to family, friends, your doctor or even a stranger, taking this first important step can help immensely as I have discovered myself.

Here is a short animated video put together by the Mental Health Foundation for mental health awareness week 2020 (Click the YouTube link below).  Everyone who has taken the time to read this short blog please like and share it so we can get the word out to as many people as possible.

It's OK not to be OK! and something people forget about or do not think about at all is who helps the helper? I personally am affected by helping someone who suffers with mental health and we too need help. it can be a vicious circle
